I never haggle. I dislike even the thought of it. It usually doesn't even cross my mind even in situations where it's common like flea markets or hiring contractors. My mother haggles with ease, though, and probably hates not haggling. When I tell her how much I pay for something, she mentions that I could have haggled for less, which gives me the vague feeling that I'm being ripped off somehow. I'm not sure why I can't bring myself to haggle. It just doesn't seem to fit my style for some reason. When I hear a price that seems fair and what I expect to pay, I'm satisfied paying it. It might surprise some people who expect to be haggled with. I'm reminded of that scene in Life of Brian where the merchant makes Brian haggle over his gourd.
