Beautiful day. Gorgeous spring day in April. I don't have my screens in yet. I have to hose them down and wash the windows before I put them in. Still, I couldn't resist cracking open the window of my office while I was working and enjoying the spring breeze.

Unfortunately, a little bee got into my house. The cats alerted me to its presence by knocking some vases off a windowsill as they attempted to catch it. Before it got pissed and stung somebody, I grabbed a paper towel and squished it. It tried to escape by crawling under a window latch, which made me feel like crap but it was too late by then. It was already hurt. I got it out and finished it off.

Poor little thing. Now I'm sad but who wants to deal with a pissed off bee in their house? It's all mother nature's fault for making it warm and getting the bugs active.

At least I was able to relocate a spider I found in my house yesterday to the great outdoors. Bees, unfortunately, are a little trickier.
