Earlier this year, Sister Helen Prejean, C.S.J., visited LaSalle University to discuss her work to abolish the death penalty, and I had the opportunity to listen to her speak and chat with her briefly. She’s one of the foremost Catholic voices regarding this social justice issue and the author of The Death of Innocents and Dead Man Walking.
