Ouch! The latest cat essay brought back painful memories for me. It tells of a cat named Atticus (good name for a cat)who bites his owner at one point as she retrieves him from one of his attempts to roam outside. Being bitten by a cat is not pleasant, the little fiends. The first cat I owned bit me the night I rescued him. He remains the only animal who has ever landed me in the hospital and that includes several horses I've fallen from. Long story for another time.
